• Kinesis Aithein (current model). Small frameset, lightly used. Up to 30mm clearance (tyre/rim dependent). Plus some parts as needed.
    Columbus Futura full carbon fork.

    Geo chart below. It's a Small/50, but equivalent to 53.5 - 54cm traditional.

Bought very end of 2019 as a summer bike - aimed to use Summer 2020. Had surgery in early 2020 and hardly used it!

Now can't ride a bike this size comfortably - it's not a super aggressive geometry actually (for a proper road bike) - they increased the stack and reduced the reach on this model as the previous were quite long and low. I am 5ft 9, 71cm saddle height and had it set up with approx 5cm saddle-bar drop, which is a fairly standard road set up.

It's the lightest bike I owned (sub 8kg with 105/Ultegra mix and 28/24 spoke wheels), though not a stupid light frame (Approx 1500g) - good for crits etc.
I briefly had a lighter alu frame that I didn't build up, and frankly I was scared of it.

Has done around 400-500 miles due to recovering from surgery over the summer. Around 8-10 summer rides.

I ran this with 28mm tyres with bags of clearance. It's made for standard drop brakes (e.g. Ultegra, Campy) with the pads at bottom of slots.

    • No dents or major scrapes.
    • Only cosmetic issue was a tiny paint blemish on top tube, right where you look down! Raised this when it arrived but was not enough for Kinesis to exchange it. They confirmed it had passed QC including several checks. I actually managed to fill it with a couple light coats of clear lacquer and a buff but put those neat Kinesis stickers over the area as I was annoyed with them cos it was an expensive new bike! Note, the blemish didn't span the whole area of the stickers - more like 1mm ! - but as it was offset to one side, I used 2 stickers to make them symmetrical. I've not peeled them off as they are quite sticky reflective ones and don't want to take any topcoat off.
    • I will include the rest of the sheet of stickers - they are official Kinesis ones which are subtle in day but reflective in dark.
    • Will include the frame hole ports for cable gearing or electric (cable ports currently fitted).
    • Fork steerer cut to allow 30-35mm spacers. Cut and finished professionally.

Frame, forks headset and basic 31.6 Boardman seatpost (if you need it - not pictured - good condition): £399 NOW £390 plus £25 postage

If you want the frameset for sure, plus any parts, dibs and PM me. Please don't PM me about parts separately - it's not worth my while photoing and listing lots of small parts til I've sold the big bits and would like to help someone with a build. I will list smaller parts once big bits gone.

Have some parts to help with build

    • Various 90-100mm stems of different quality. Price varies.
    • Ultegra 6800 brakes. Light summer use. £52.50/pair
    • Some light but a bit aged compact Ritchey WCS bars, 420mm
    • Current seatpost is a 27.2 Easton EC90 carbon with quite a bit of layback, using an appropriate shim (USE or Can Creek shim I think). £15 inc shim.
    • I do have some wheels, but really for this build, you want some lighter than what I have spare (Using my light ones elsewhere). Front Easton EA50 Aero with nice red hub - £25. (Really, the others are 105s on DT rims, 32/32 - more audax than Summer bike!)
    • Various Hollowtech 2 BBs - good used condition. Go for an Ultegra for £9.
    • Hope Road BB, black - good used condition. £40
    • Probably got some 50t chainrings (110bcd of course). Possibly free.
    • Couple sets of basic SPD-SL pedals. Cheap/free depending on what else bought.
    • Red-walled 25.5mm folding Jack Brown race tyres. Lightly used. £15 pair.

Most parts can be included in frame box - larger may need sending separately.
