But it’s still in touching distance ⚒

I expected better of... no not really
Agree with the protest and a game scheduled at old trafford didn't ruin my weekend.. happy with that

Fucking hell. I don't remember there being any mention at the time of quite how prolonged and violent the incident with Dalian Atkinson was.

Me neither, I only remember it being reported as he died from being tasered. Horrific.

Really grim.

Not much surprises me in football, but Roma replacing Paolo Fonseca with Mourinho has.
-

As is the case with these incidents, we only got a version of events reported by the police at the time. Experience tells us that in incidents like this, it is unlikely to tell anything remotely like the full story.

My exact words as I read the article. This sort of thing needs more attention at the time, not just when the details come out in a court case down the line.
Fucking bastards protecting their own, even if they're fucking murderous cunts.

Saw him play many times at Swindon and Portsmouth, sad times.

Was sent a link to these by B&D a few days ago.
If I was getting more road miles in I’d certainly be buying.
As it stands I might just treat myself to a cap or snood -

The pace that the city v PSG game is being played at is insane
-
• #156215
So many brilliant performances from the City players tonight, deserved finalists.
-
• #156216
Yeah tbey worked hard. PSG get petulant again. Did fernandiho do a number on Di Maria to get the reaction???
-
• #156217
Probably some choice phrases, nothing physical that I saw.

Say what you like about the way Fernandinho plays the game, few have done it as effectively. The guy is a colossus. Up there with Makelele and Gilberto.
-
• #156219
Yeah he is so good at what he does. Think jermain pendant mentions it how he hasn't got a yellow card the number of tackles and small fouls to break the play up. I know Dias will get the headlines but I thought John stones was very good last night.

Think Real will sneak through tonight. Uefa don't want 2 English teams again so brown envelope to the officials put my tin foil hat on it's gonna be like 2009 all over again..... Its a disgrace.#gettingitinearly
Tin foil aside I think the away goals might come in to it. I really hope I'm wrong.

The City fans I know really don’t want to play Chelsea in the final. They were much the better team in the semi final I thought.
-
• #156222
Real are total pros at this so I wouldn't be surprised if they smash you, but Chelsea's defence has been pretty solid right? I reckon you'll squeak it.
-
• #156223
I don't think Real will smash Chelsea (only west brom can do that) but think maybe 0-1 or a 1-2. one of thev thing chelsea have going for them is energy and pace this Real team couldn't keep up for 30 mins in the last game. But like you say Real are just so used to being in this situation.
-
• #156224
All English finals are a bit shit, and Real Madrid are a bit special. City will be a different proposition from the Semi Final, but Chelsea are worrying. Tuchel has 'em ticking, prob be 2nd favourites for next years title.

jermain pendant
Nice!
Stones was next level yesterday. Probably playing the best football of his career atm.
I'm just glad to kick the can down the road. Next season...
