I had a 1.7 na visa that was lots of fun. It was foot to the floor every where and learning to carry the speed.
BX was similar but with the hydraulic suspension you could corner faster.
There was a 4x4 gti saloon and a 16v up for sale recently on the Citroen owners site. Both needed re commissioning after being in storage. Did think about it.

I’m with you. I wouldn’t get into that sort of work though. If I could find a petrol wagon that clean I’d be very tempted.
