I’d be worried that you’re going to fill it with moisture and rust the bikes

I can't imagine many things worse than doing turbo sessions in a sealed metal box that's barely big enough to fit a bike + rider, to be honest

We have a small, hot, windowless room at work that we have joked about putting a white noise machine in and doing tortuous, sensory deprived roller sessions in.
What you are suggesting sounds worse.

sounds like some sort of torture method, or a weird version of the Great Escape where Steve McQueen has a turbo instead of a baseball.

If he'd had that and used a BMX he might have cleared that fence.

I dunno. I think cycling in Asgard would be quite fun. Finding it might be tricky.

I like being compared to McQueen! Yeah points taken although I’d plan to use it with doors open and a small dark box isn’t what worries me about being on the turbo.

This is one of the worst ideas ever. Say no to wife, problem solved.

Put wife in box?

Dark

Yeah... Would be a bit dark in there TBF.

Looks like on balance people feel this isn’t a goer

Its everything I've never wanted!
Was planning to buy an Asgard to store the bikes securely in the garden but my wife has suggested buying a bigger one so that can use turbo in it. (And get it out of the house)
Issues that I’ve come across so far:
Height - tallest I can see they have is 200cm at apex, I measured approx 195 sat on the turbo
Power - potentially run an outdoor extension as don’t want to drill the Asgard and invalidate its security
Wifi- can prob use a booster but it will be boosting another booster rather than the router
Insulation - Im a sweaty monster so I’m less worried about this
Noise - turbo +/- a fan in a steel box could be interesting!
Anything else? Open to alternatives but security is paramount especially after chased off a couple trying to break in to the house last week!
Thanks
