• I had this with my old arkose fork and 650x47.
    But that's on the sides, and not where all the stuff gets dragged in and out nonstop and pushed against the wheel. At least thats my theory. Also those forks where cheap.

  • The tyre isn't seated dead straight so it's only a light touch on one side, right at the widest edge of the side knobs. But it's only run through little muddy bits where nothing has stayed put. If it was a muddy route I'm not likely gonna risk it. I also don't care about the fork but I don't want to chew up a tyre and have to walk home just because.
