I've got a nice old Carlton step through with nervex lugs I think - will measure and let you know, will be cheap.
-
• #4
It's just frame and forks - 50 cm centre to centre - too small ?
-
• #5
Yes I'm pretty sure that would be to small
-
• #6
I think size 54-56 would be ideal

If you can get over to Tunbridge Wells then this is on Facebook market place, was going to buy it myself but I have no real need for it - https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/468432124473766/

Saw this on ebay which I was telling a friend to buy but they've decided not to go for it

You don’t think it smells of stolen ?
-
• #12
Thanks but we are after more of a classic, traditional style bike if that makes sense.

Was going to fix this one up but already got a load of projects on the go. 53cm seat tube.

Not every bike on ebay is stolen you know. Seller looks legit and description is better than those you would see on a typical stolen bike

Hi Thanks for this. It dosen't look like it has many gears. Is it possible to fit a different groupset to something like this? Or is it best to start off with one with the groupset you want? She would need enough range to be able to tackle hills.

Pretty sure it's got a sturmey archer 3 speed which was cutting edge a few years back!
-
• #18
Hey you could be right I thought initially because of the crappy photos
-
• #19
We are still after a ladies step through size 54-56 if anyone has one spare
-

Look at this - gears and low price :)

Oh thanks well spotted. I will ask what size it is. The only trouble is it’s collection only in Doncaster!

Offer to arrange your currier if they can stick it in a box. Looks to me 54 or so
Hi we are looking for a classic steel ladies step through frame. I would guess 53-54cm frame size would be about right?
It doesn't matter if it is a bit scruffy as we could get it resprayed in the colour of choice.
