wtf are you guys on about? there so many worse 'done by number' grave builds out there and 'on here'.

I had this with my old arkose fork and 650x47.
But that's on the sides, and not where all the stuff gets dragged in and out nonstop and pushed against the wheel. At least thats my theory. Also those forks where cheap.

Limped home after a 5plug tubeless incident. Rimpact inserts are class, did about 50km with 10psi. Basically a run flat solution. Very much do recommend!

I accept it's stupid. But this is really my road bike. The roads were fucked with traffic so took it out on the grave. Got some 650b 2.1s for real off road.... Oh wait.

Never trust a man with rim inserts in a gravel bike. Should have done a picture of the fat guys riding smugly on full sus e-bikes while our skinny asses were fixing punctures in some rut full of fist sized rocks.

Cut Gate. Not ideal for gravel bikes but still fun nonetheless! Those eboys were loving it.

Wait, are they oval rings?

The tyre isn't seated dead straight so it's only a light touch on one side, right at the widest edge of the side knobs. But it's only run through little muddy bits where nothing has stayed put. If it was a muddy route I'm not likely gonna risk it. I also don't care about the fork but I don't want to chew up a tyre and have to walk home just because.

Can confirm the 2.8 G-One's from a page or so back are absolutely cracking, well worth sticking on if your ride can take them.
