    Just realised that is quite a gamble for a multiday ultra event in a foreign country with the weather becoming more and more unpredictable. I mean, if you get caught out with a bit of rain and all of the dust becomes instant clay, you'd struggle to walk that bike!

  • Yeah, on the other hand, if it's an Aussie and they're in the 15th year of their local drought, then it's probably a safe bet.

    I've managed to ride my bike without dying with stupid clearances for the last x months.
