Riders may not jettison food, bonk-bags, feeding bottles, clothes, etc. outside of the litter zones provided by the organiser.

Ah, well if that's the rule then yes, I agree with you.

Unfortunately, this is a "UCI rule" which is basically as good as the toilet paper it's shitted on.

If the UCI actually applied their rules, none of the current Hour Record holder would hold the Hour Record.
