Really, really enjoying this Rogue Audio Sphinx. Fantastic amplifier. Leaves me wanting for absolutely nothing. Soundstage is now wider, deeper and taller, instruments sound more realistic, everything just sounds objectively better. Vocals are amazing... Genuinely gobsmacked at how much better it sounds than the Rotel A12 I demoed considering it is is only $400 or so more. And the difference between the Rogue and the Rega IO and my now sold Onkyo A9150 is quite astounding.
I also decided to retry Roon and I'm really enjoying it this time around. Currently running on a Macbook Air with caffeine installed so that I can close the lid, but I'm tempted to grab a NUC. Though that's not a priority. I'm using my phone as a remote at the moment but feel like I'm missing out on the full Roon experience so may well get an iPad to complement it all.
Current setup is MBA>Roon/Tidal>Topping E30 via USB>Rogue Audio Sphinx V3>Totem Acoustic Sky Towers.
Legitimately could not be happier with this setup.
