I hear you, but I'm not likely to get a ps5 until maybe christmas this year, or more likely before easter 2022, so hoping some of these games will have come down in price.
And since I'm now doing the digital thing, you're kind of at the mercy of the playstation store having a sale on to get anything decent for an amount you wouldn't find exorbitant...

Days Gone coming to steam on 18 May

I really enjoyed days gone - it was pleasingly generic. the hordes were heaps of fun too. looking forward to a play through at 4k60 when I ever manage to get my hands on a PS5

Got an Xcloud browser invite, spun up Halo before work this morning. Bit clunky and syncing data takes an absolute age, but still impressive nonetheless. Might try with some less intensive games instead...

It'll get so much better later in the year when the hardware in the data centre changes. They're still using One S' at the moment. They're moving to Series X.

Is this different to the Cloud gaming on Xbox Game Pass? Been playing through Halo 5 on my Nvidia Shield on that and it's pretty good (useless for online-matchmaking play though).

Not too dissimilar really, go to the webpage, choose the game you want and go from there. Whole bunch of Gamepass titles. Cricket 19 wouldn't sync any data and MLB: The Show couldn't even find anything. Halo and Wolfenstein seemed fine.

had a great game of apex earlier where a teammate got eliminated, we were in the middle of a massive third/fourth party fight, and my other teammate actually followed my ping out of the stramash so we could rez early game... and then go on to win the round. so often randoms will just fully leroy jenkins into any and all fights with no batts, no ammo lmao. makes you wonder what goes on in people's heads

The latest TDU trailer came out last week. Usual thing really with not much substance other than a few car badges on keys as a clue to what cars could be available. People are wondering if the reg plates are hidden clues to where it might be set, coordinates or something, but who knows. Biggest thing I think is the logos on the end plate so looks like it'll be coming to PS4/5, Xbox One/Series S/X, PC and Switch which is good to see.

I must say watching some streamers has made me feel better about my performances. they often drop and get beamed instantly too. can't be many things more satisfying in gaming than one clipping someone with an R-99

I've been slowly going through Jedi Fallen Order and really enjoyed it. I don't really understand all the hate @HatBeard had for it. The only real fight that was a struggle was the final boss. Didn't 100% the game but got over 90% on each world. Actually the main annoying thing was the map and trying to work out how to get to places deep in the world.
