Hah, Rob Hatch has just totally fucked up pronouncing 'Bex', the Swiss town to the east of Aigle. Hah.

93rd today, 3:34 down on the day's winner. Moves up 25 places on GC to 105th.

He's just making sure he's not a threat on GC so he can launch his comeback with a great solo breakaway win.

Yes, he must look at the people on this thread and think, where did my life go wrong?

He's one of us! Are Froome

• #33209
He’s certainly not going to beat my Hogtrough PB in this form

Can we expect some outrageous move from him tomorrow? Don't see how he can be climbing so badly when he was ok, not great, at UAE just a few months ago.

The big news from Romandie is G has abandoned his iconic white Oakley Jawbones.
Yesterday he was still wearing them

Maybe he just ‘felt cute’ on Tuesday.

They’re Jawbreakers. Only five years out of date, compared to the 10 years out of date when he wears the Jawbones.

Dennis doing a Dennis.

OG Sagan would have made it over that climb. Nice win for Colbrelli though

53rd on today’s stage, 43 seconds down on the stage winner.
GC not available yet.
Edit: Up to 63rd on GC.

Great riding by UAE to place three riders in the top ten on the stage. A good reminder that there is no i in team.

On it. He appears to be back to the Jawbones entirely. I think he got carried with the Ineos boys on the bus but Sara had the final word.
Dennis was very impressive yesterday. Must be terrifying to go off the front with him riding like that. I felt for Kuss and Woods as he roled past them.
The latest Cycling Pod Service Course features Are Xav and throws more shade on Alex Richardson. Everyone loves giving that guy a kicking.

That's a bit surprising... there's a women's pro race here this weekend I didn't know was on. The prolog is 2km from my office; heard absolutely nothing about it, I assume due to Covid restrictions.
Good team list too (albeit for the most part, not their big names)

I was in the race referenced in Tom Walley's reporting and can confirm he was riding like a dick. This was 6 years ago but I can still picture him swinging all over the group with hands in "puppy paws" position, barging guys around, and generally being abusive. Interestingly I just looked it up on Strava and he has subsequently deleted (or made private) his participation so all the comments that were left on his page have disappeared. Craig's rant is still here though: https://www.strava.com/activities/410908654

Sliding around an amateur road race bunch in puppy paws sounds terrifying.
He's now rubbing his hands at the thought of next year's payrise :P
