I find the superdrug own brand much better. Gets the job done without destroying your mouth as badly!
Also, just in case you didn't already know (I'm sure you do), a lot of mouth ulcers are caused by a vitamin B deficiency so smashing a couple of Beroccas helps. -

Interesting. I get ulcers a lot (seem to get them more when I’m stressed. Which is always at the moment!).

Get on the Beroccas! Or even better, Holland and Barrett do a supplement called "Busy B" which has a ridiculous amount of vitamin B in it (something like 20,000x your daily minimum of B12). That and corsodyl knock off sorts me out. I think there's actually a mouth ulcer thread on here?

The feeling that it's removed a layer of your mouth is what makes Corsodyl so great IMO. A whole new mouth! Like it's actually doing something.

Wilko's Corsodyl knockoff comes in an alcohol-free version, if that helps. My review: Same petrol-siphoning mouth feel but with a smoother finish.

Similar with First Defence. It feels like it’s burning all the rot out of your sinuses and throat.

Yeah! That shit is wild

Hmmm. Mouth ulcers. I worked on a mouth ulcer clinic with Professor Scully in Bristol quite a few years ago now lol. Corsodyl and Diffam reduce symptoms as they kill the bacteria that can settle on them and make them worse.
Check that your benzoate intake is limited but if they really piss you off then get a referral to your local Oral Medicine clinic where they will investigate and treat.

You should try Colgate Peroxyl.

Just gargle battery acid followed by bleach to neutralise your mouth.
