Ha, I went to Connaught bridge first, realised that the Crystal was too far away, back to the correct bridge and up the stairs for the photo opp. Lifts were [edit: *not*—I did not try, but apparently mistakenly thought people were using them] working. Very nice day for hanami

I was looking up the name of the giant egg—The Hatchling, by Joanna Rajowska—and apparently it is an acoustic sculpture! Please could the next person to visit give it a tap and report back?

felt a bit bad calling out the re. It's a good place, interesting bit of history with a gas lamp in the memorial itself: Imperial Gas Light and Coke Company War Memorial Gardens, Twelvetrees Crescent, Bow.
And heard the chirps at Cody Dock too with a tasty chocolate fudge cake from the cafe. Always worth a visit.
New: a football school it is not, as its name suggests. In defence, one of the greatest

Ha, excellent. Well done. How did it ride?

It’s springy, very comfortable and strangely pleasing.

Struggling to figure out @Rahario 's clue 'Topical'. Because it's a new traffic filter, presumably. I only know it because I've been to that theatre quite a bit over the last decade. It's lovely inside, very much part of the 60s & 70s civic modernism that I grew up with in schools, libraries & cultural buildings during the early Milton Keynes developments.

I've only been once, complete with pre-show pint at the Rose & Crown, two years ago, to see Reg Meuross' show 'Twelve Silk Handkerchiefs', which is highly recommended if they tour it again. Sadly, the show was far from sold out, but it made for a very intimate performance and fantastic feedback between performers and audience. Some very appreciative people from Hull were there, including someone who had lost a relative in the Triple Trawler Disaster.

No idea about the clue, but know where it is.
EDIT: Oh I'm dense. Got the clue.
Nice new tag
