You posed that photo, cat has 1000 yard stare that says you abuse the cat for photo opportunities.
Or the cat is mocking you.

Hope they checked the cat had a microchip before they adopted it!
Bit close to home thats all, my cat ended up in the back of a builders van and was taken to Mile End from Wapping. This was a Friday, builder knocked on my door and told me on Monday (he knew the cat was mine). When the driver opened up the van he apparently legged it and was never seen again, despite me riding down most nights shaking a box of his dried food for a couple of weeks around the area last seen but never found him.
Over a year later the vet called and told me he'd been found run over somewhere in Mile End. Meaning someone must've adopted him and not checked his chip (also removed his collar, name tag with phone number).
He was great!

Oh I am sorry. That sucks! But whoever adopted him basically stole him? I kind of understand not bothered to check microchip but if he had a collar with your number then it was obvious!
He looks very cat in the pic! I am so sorry you lost him.

It's the collar bit that makes me mad. Even now, a few years later. So many questions and what ifs. We were devastated at the time.
Just hope he was looked after and was happy for the last year of his life -

Yeah I was holding a gun to his favourite toy just outside the pic.
(Actually he’s ogling my daughter who was pouring his dinner into a bowl)

He might have lost the collar, if it had a safety buckle? Ours has tried to hang himself a few times and we’ve found the collar under a tree. Still should have taken the cat to have its chip checked obvs.

The MOT guy is a cat owner, and we chat cats. The garage cat had no chip and was hiding in the engine bay.
What happened to you was horrible, and a nightmare so much that my cats are house cats. They escaped while holidaying in France, and a real fear.

Waily has made friends with the new neighbours opposite already. They are convinced he's a girl and are calling him Maggie. Jokes on them when he eventually cocks his leg up and gets his willy out on their sofa.

Our cats have taken to sitting on my geraniums. I have erected some barriers which they are inspecting with interest.
This could go either way....

This picture is great, what total dicks they are.
My mot garage have a cat that was trapped in a van that came in.
I drop treats in to the garage for the cat, we call the cat the boss.
