Hah! They can head to 50 acre or Leigh woods, those trails are too busy with families etc for real shredders. And those that do try to put speed runs in are usually twats about it in my experience.

New bikes last a while so it's important to invent new ways to make people buy (often overpriced) stuff. I guess those influenced by trends have the most disposable income, plus are the easiest to convince?
