Well... Iβve put an awful lot of thought and time into this build and while I love the Tange Levin - Iβve had the same unit on my touring bike for more than a decade - Iβd treated myself to my first Chris King for the Crust because itβs a bit more special.
If I can tweak the CK it will be a precision job, so not really a bodge as I see it. More another way to make the bike my own.
If you're going through the effort to have the CK top nut altered, a far less destructive and similarly faffy option would be to have a spacer machined for the collet and tapped on each end (guessing female β> male).
