Updated the Allday and took it for a spin yesterday.
Tyres and pedals changed to a more secure off-road setup. Rack added to take beer and pizza to the race ;)

Where exactly does one get a pair of pink GK's?
-
• #456
They're meant to be released next month if stock arrives on time.

Cheers, just found the link in the Brother thread : )
The bike looks like a lot of fun! -

Thanks. Yeah it is a lot of fun to ride. Think I'm gonna get a 43t Chainring so I've got more gearing choices, but other than that pretty happy with how it's come together.

Not tried it fixed but this route is fun. I've done it on a road bike with 32c tyres and I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing so should be easy enough! Beckenham Place Park as already mentioned is probably better than Crystal Palace Park. Well Woods near West Wickham would also probably be pretty fun.

I’ve done a few rides around this area like this fixed some cracking off road routes!

One of my favourite builds on here atm, tyres are amazing.
What gear are you running?
-
• #462
Cheers mate. I can see that colour being pretty popular when they’re properly released.
Currently 47/18, but will likely gear down to 43/18 or 19 to get a bit more control on the rough stuff.

Question is, do I need pink tyres for my lavender Big Block?
@ltc nice thanks, I recognise a lot of that from my regular cx routes. Interesting choice to go up Jewels wood. I'm a big fan of pinging it down there tbf. I'd also be tempted to try Frith wood but that could be the limit of my tekkers. But I'll give that route a shot, maybe add some personalisation, thanks! If you or anyone else SE would be up for some sillyness I'd be keen.

You could go "Flamingo Pink" at the front and "Pansy Blue" on the rear...

Obvious answer is obvious.

Looks good :)
I didn't realise that a 700*40 Nano would fit in the back of the V3 pomp frame. Is it pretty snug?
-
• #471
The fact that the rear wheel is almost falling out of the back of the track end would suggest it is a tight fit :-)

It is a little precarious! My chain tool doesn't handle 1/8" well, so I left it the length I received it. Looking at the clearance I could maybe lose a link:
The rims are insanely narrow so I dunno if the tyre is really sat at 40mm -
• #473
on my old one the limiting factor for tire size was the seatstay under the wishbone

Tyre recommendations for my steamroller?
Gonna run 35s as still would like to have a bit of clearance around the front brake (sacrilege I know ha ha)... want a nice middle ground for various surfaces and am leaning towards gravelking sks? Unless anyone has any other shouts?
All this talk of Groupsets and pics of gears...
