I wanted a carbon, flat mounted, thru axled frame for 550. Looked at the carbonda 696 (nearly ordered), flirted with the idea of an alloy Checkpoint (over budget) - but then this turned up on eBay for 550 brand new (tiny chip on seat stay). It’s exactly what I need, for mostly road, and ticks all the generic gravel bike boxes. Blurry top tube was free
