  • Apart from something retro, can’t seem to find any nice new chest of draws/wardrobe Was thinking of a an open set up. I can’t
Imagine this would ever be a good
Idea dust wise but anyone attempted this? Feel It’s just for these kind of photos and I’d be dusting washing everything monthly

  • Personally I think they look good in staged photos but really not sure they’re in anyway practical (dust, uv, changeable temps, moths etc) and that in real life they’re likely to look a mess.

I do agree that it’s hard to find nice wardrobes - probably a custom build jobbie

  • Also only works when you half fill it. When there's a teetering pile of hoodies and you're cramming in some sheets it doesn't quite look the same.

  • We had our hanging clothes on rails (designed for walk in wardrobes) precisely to reduce moth risk. Moths prefer dark spaces. The shoulders need hoovering regularly though!

For drawer we bought a vintage haberdashery cabinet with glass sliding doors and wooden open-fronted drawers.

This replaced built in wardrobes which really made the room seem small
