I am now standing waiting for an ubahn because the ticking sound of my front wheel was the spokes slowly loosening leaving me now with an unstable wheel and me wanting to save my teeth on the way home.
I tried the same when my wheel was hanging, no ticking. I believe it's because the spokes are under much more tension when ridden hence the ticks only occuring then.
I have a squeak in my rear wheel that I can’t locate or fix. It occurs when the wheel is rotating with and without the freewheel engaged and only when the bike is being ridden. The sound increases in frequency with acceleration of the wheel. It doesn’t occur with the bike in the stand.
So far I have:
The hub is an Easton R4.
Does anyone have an idea what it could be?
