I've patched warzone and taken up apex instead - more my vibe I think. I loved TF2 so feel right at home in apex... have even managed to win a couple of rounds. can be brutal early game if you get a hot drop with no weapons tho

Have fond memories of driving around with my mates on TDU. Also very proud of myself for unlocking all the achievements including the one that requires you to drive every section of road around the map. Took me and a mate a good amount of time to complete that meaningless task.

Also, any racing game that features Caterhams gets a big thumbs up from me!

I swear to god I die more in the game trying to deal with my diddy teammates than anything else. I've been solo queuing today and doing a lot better. managed to lift my K/D from 0.4 up to 0.95 just by playing solos. shoot me an invite if you ever want to play - dwhhhhhhhhhh (that's 10 hs)

Really enjoying MLB The Show 21 so far; bit tricky to get used to, but once you find a flow it's not bad. Whole thing looks clean and the whole broadcast stuff on Road to the Show is top notch

Started it downloading mid yesterday but my internet is so slow wasn’t able to get on the full game yet, only the little bit you can play once it’s downloaded a certain percent.

From what I can see it looks to be set up pretty well to learn the ropes as you go by being able to set some stuff to automatic and other stuff to be more involved. Being able to select automatic fielding but full pitching for example if you want to focus on getting to grips with a certain bit rather than dropping you completely in it. I found that with NBA 2k21 which I pretty much uninstalled straight away as I had no idea what I was doing.

finally managed to unlock octane - he's so much fun. harder to use than bangalore / bloodhound though

had an amazing clutch win earlier in a 2v2v2 finale - got carried by a caustic to the final circle and then managed to kill 2 of the remaining 4 to help bag the W

there's not nearly enough love for 8-bit roguelike mobile turn based CCG's, so you should all download and play

Saw this in my youtube feed, and Returnal was one of those games that looked great, when Sony were winding up for the launch of the ps5, nice to hear it plays well.
Might be one of those early games that sets the standard for the ps5

On a playing note, have given myself a rest from Everspace, brought a bunch of digital games in the playstation spring sale, and returned to Spiderman, after watching some gameplay for Spiderman: Miles Morales, which got me excited about webswinging and attacking henchmen, and general spiderman stuff, and after the break I'm enjoying it alot more.

joined a couple of dragunov's lobbies on apex last night - one guy had 20k+ kills on one character... mmmm sweaty

But we nearly destroyed the team where the Wraith had 52 000 kills :)

He had me at 'Prometheus'. Always looked like it would be good but that preview is bang on.

I'm keen for Returnal, but not keen on £70 for a game.

Interesting getting back into Runescape. It has always, and still feels like quite a basic repetitive game that's fairly limited for free to play users, but, somehow it keeps me coming back. It helps that it's mobile now and in my pocket whenever I want it. It can rinse the battery if you're not careful though
