It's a 54x42, very fast TT, tri or sportive, but don't try going over Box Hill on it.
Box Mountain is not achievable on 42 x 23?

Eating last night's boiled tripe & oinions as a cold breakfast today is achievable, but not desirable.
42 as an escape ring is similarly an unattractive option unless you have Mr Hoy's thighs.
Riding the Cheddar Gorge on this thing was severe, but coming back down the hill to the village was worse due to speed and an oncoming tour bus.I can confirm the brakes work most efficiently and you can actually use the rear bumper of a mini to help shed speed.

Just bid on it on ebay...
A very tall 58, short legs won't fit.
Dura Ace flightdecks, derailleurs, crank set, calipers,
700x23 Michelins
New chain, new tubes.
Some stone chips, touched up.
Not a commuter. It's a 54x42, very fast TT, tri or sportive, but don't try going over Box Hill on it. It embarrases the plastic wonders in Regents Park, it gave me very flattering times in the London tri's.
Stored inside by me, now I'm too old. NW2.
