  • Since moving to the wahoo trainer my ftp has dropped each month! I have been putting in consistent time on the turbo since about august last year. Apart from couple of months ago I did have a hip flexor issue so had to back off for a few weeks. This year my weight has remained constant but I have been losing fat.

    Was meant to do ramp test on Monday but had covid vaccine so took a few days off and did the test today.

    Not really sure what is causing this three month slump. Might do a few tempo sessions and repeat the ramp test next week.

  • Funnily enough I’ve plateaued on the trainer (in terms of my FTP) but I’m going much better outdoors.

    I don’t like my smart turbo. Feels terrible compared to my dumb fluid set up but perhaps it’s making me stronger.
