That was body glorious! I loved the intro but then I have been in a band that routinely started shows with ten minutes of ambient atmospheric stuff...
Bruce really can do no wrong though, it's actually very odd that Fender have never done a signature model...

They must have wanted to and offered - there can't be many Fenders still being played around that have more significance.
In his case I don't think it was originally a cheap pawn shop find or anything, but regardless I can easily imagine him not wanting to participate in some hugely expensive custom shop project and / or thinking his shouldn't be replicated.

I've just seen this for the first time after a Patti Smith YouTube binge, cringed a bit at the playing at the very start (that soon gets really nice tho', lovely little delay thing he's doing) but then he stomps on the fuzz and all hell breaks loose... I had no idea The Boss could shred, fabulous clip...
