Wow I'm an idiot. I got a couple of Minolta SLRs in an auction (SRT 303 and an XD11) thinking I'd keep one and sell the other, but almost dropped the SRT when I was unrolling it from the bubble wrap and put a big greasy thumbprint on the mirror as I caught it. Is it worth trying to get that off gently with some lens cleaner or something or is that just going to do more harm than good?
Just try and gently clean it I reckon. There’ll be mirror wipes available online for sure. It’s only for the viewfinder, so it won’t affect your photos.
Edit, unless you fuck up the focussing. I reckon I am bang wrong, lol. Ignore me.
