• Does anybody know if the new iPad Pro has some wizardry with the camera which means you can use it in landscape for video meetings, without looking weird with an offset camera? I've the previous version iPad Pro and had to get a little portrait stand.

    Yes...

Additionally, an all-new Ultra Wide front camera enables Center Stage, a new feature that automatically keeps users perfectly framed for even more engaging video calls.

That's great. It was a bit rubbish before. The 2020 Macbook Pro's camera isn't anywhere near as good as the 2020 iPad Pro's, but then the iPad Pro on landscape for video call was crap too.

I'd like the ability to use the iPad Pro as the camera in a video meeting, have the participants visible on the iPad Pro and be able to work between my laptop, for documents, screen share and notes etc. But, I think this might be a step too far. I think there's third party software which would sort of allow the use of the camera, but it would be great if it were native and both worked together a bit better, as I use the iPad Pro as a second screen a lot.

  • Can't you join the call as two users? One to show stuff and one to talk and be seen?

I've done it a few times on a Mac and macbook and it works really well
