There are some good guides on YouTube - check out Ammo NYC. I wet sanded with progressively finer paper from 240 -> 1500 before polishing with DA polisher. Useful to go North/south and then east/west each time you change grit so you can see you’ve effectively removed the previous grits sanding marks.
