The more I look at it, the more I can appreciate it. Etap seems to make sense on this. The frame would look at lot nicer if they would get a nice logo IMHO.

A mate is looking for a hybrid first London bike. Anyone got any suggestions of good bikes to look for on ebay?

Wasn't there a Pinnnacle (not Akros) that people were talking about a while back? "hybrid" is literally the worst fucking term to put into ebay.

I think there is a Pinnacle Lithium. Maybe have a look for Cube Hyde or Travel.

Maybe not for a regular punter and pre-brexit but seems a bit high.

They've got the classic £350 starter budget.

What appeals about Pinnacle is the low brand value. Cube look good, but they appear to hold their value.

TBH when I started looking for a new #dadbike it was half way through lockdown and I was fucking astounded by 2nd hand prices. So I have almost zero idea what fair market value looks like anymore.

Thats a good bike and price isnt too bad, just need to add SKS guards and decathlon rack; £75-ish in parts.

Good looking build, but imo lacking mudguards, dynamo lighting and/or racks to really fit in here.

Thank you. Planned mods are,

1. Switch to drum brake, remove caliper
   
2. Reinstallation of front pannier rack since the rear is now inaccessible.
   
3. Rotate bars down 5 degrees
   
4. More helicopter tape and especially
   
5. More reflective tape!
