yeah i get that, shame it doesnt work for most peoples work vs home devices, i cant just ‘work’ on a personal device

Typing this whilst working from home on on my standard issue corporate Dell connected to my "ancient" 2009 27" iMac.
Still running smoothly on High Sierra, maxed out ram and an 840 pro SSD. Do have some smudging on the lcd which is a known issue. And do have an upgrade BT board in a box somewhere to activate continuity. Which reminds that I need to open it up for a cleaning session.

Indeed that seems obvious, though I get the idea that apple really pushes the approach of starting to work on something on one device and just continue seamlessly on another, as all the things are synced.
Having "more screen estate" with both the laptop and the imac on the desk is something only a few people appreciate / need I guess, but I agree it would be great to have the option!
