and by reference I don't mean the surrealist work of Magritte although that is fun. Fun fact about Magritte, he worked for many years hand painting patterned wallpaper.

Very happy with my 38mm to. Though I have just noticed I’ve scratched the bezel already. I did ask them about a no date version. They didn’t have one and weren’t receptive about making one.

You should be able to, otherwise it’s a different model, no?

It looks like they've made a change in production, on the Seiko site that reference (and the 147) is now shown with lume at 3. Curiously, the 145 isn't - maybe they're phasing that reference out sooner so aren't bothering to update it.

I know some of the guys at Norqain and a couple of their sponsored athletes. I've been following their progress for a while now. Why am I saying this? Your post is the first time I have seen somebody express a like for one of their watches in English and not German.

I'd be curious to know what people think about the brand. They have spent so much money on marketing and brand positioning its unreal.
