It was widely reported he'd signed a three year deal. PCS, which is usually accurate on these things, has him on a one-year deal. Sylvan Adams is no mug, so I doubt he offered a contract which he couldn't reduce or break if performances didn't match renumeration.
He still has reportedly another 4.5 years left of a lucrative ISN contract remaining, so he has time.
Maybe not the fitness any more though...
