I had a 59 plate Legacy and I loved it. The Outback stands a bit taller with smaller wheels but basically the same. That car is missing the boot cover but does have the dog grille. The condition of the exhausts is definitely worth checking around the hanger hooks. If you like to tinker under the bonnet the spark are a bugger to get to. I was generally unimpressed by the power and was looking to do something about it but never did. 25-30 mpg. That sounds negative but I liked the car it's just that I got a job driving a Tesla S so sold the Legacy.

The MOT history doesn't give me the impression that it has been a well loved vehicle in the past. I'd be looking for someone with a better history

Yeah -cheers dude - its basically a hot hatch... which was a bit of a shock when I saw it on friday.
The ved sized bike fitting in this is a deal breaker as this is what I need it for really...
Will take a bike and test next time.
Its a JDM import but totally rust free which is main killer of Alfas AFAIK. I have a really decent garage close by who specialise in esoteric Italia...

It’s a lifestyle estate, or that’s what I think they called it- more a styling exercise than a load carrier. Which means that they do look fantastic of course. Could the bike not go on the roof?
I’ve accepted that 6pt has probably identified the best vehicle for cyclists, issue is I can’t afford one.

There’s a good FF ownership thread on pistonheads I read yesterday. Fresh from the dealer the car required 7k of work. Also a pic of it alongside his own van (they’re the same length) and some ‘tip run in a Ferrari’ pics.
I think you would ‘enjoy’ Ferrari ownership. We transferred our house money to solicitor last week so one is now no longer purchasable with my available funds, probably for the best.

How're you finding your disco?

• #64010
Good! It’s been fun so far. Have basically just had the back seats down permanently and used the back as a load space. Would deffo still prefer a van I think, but it’s gonna be a while until I can afford one that I want, so disco will do for now!

Envious of these two out for a cruise in the sun shine. Both sounded ace.

Brilliant weekend of motoring, probably totalled my car on Saturday morning by being a dick and not concentrating at a set of temporary lights; lorry in front went for it, so did I and then he did a full emergency stop :), on the way to mother in laws , went home got the van which then overheated on the a303 and will be coming back on a low loader later this week. Happy fucking days! Beers on the train now.

How many German estates do you need?
-
• #64020
I'd get rid of the E63. And hope (like hell) that I find the BMW seats get on with my spine.

What about this. It certainly has novelty value.

7 owners?

No chance. So much more interesting than the current fast estate.
Get it.

Stupid i-Drive system, flakey and clunky SMG box, engine has lots of power but only if you rev the tits off it. Definitely a step in the wrong direction.
I'm still waiting for you to give in, and buy an RS6. Really comfy seats on the C6 model.

£3,500 to convert it to manual with BMW parts.
Went to see this one today. I don't know very much about cars - any thoughts from you lot?
