They're inured to criticism. Most of the money (already available and potentially to come) doesn't come from the traditional fans. The opinions of some nobody whose family have been season-ticket holders for generations are worthless.

This feels like a surreal practical joke. Surely this idea has been toxic for long enough for these clubs to have gotten the message?
