You need the patio attachment; there a k2 pack that comes with it. Still needs care around render and mortar especially if it’s old or cracked.

K2 patio nozzle will casually strip the surface off soft decorative (i.e. not engineering) bricks as well as the mortar in between. Guess how I discovered this...

Just dont get black radiators, everyone we fit is shit for some reason.

Yep, looking at the version that includes that (the yellow disc thing?). Ok, well it's in stock in town. I'll see how far I get inside today and then move outside after.
In my next life I'm just going to stay in a hotel.

Yep I just use the wood setting or the dedicated attachment for stone.

Built a frame out of wood (had some 50mm batons lying around) then filled it with self-levelling compound. 3 bags, allowed to set between each one. You always need more of that shit than you think you need.

Looks amazing. Did you hire the sander and do it yourself? If so, did you also use an edge sander? Also if so, how did you manage to get the latter to not be a total cunt?

Looks great but I do like the gym floor look, suppose you could repaint if thats the aesthetic you want.

Well, novelty value if nothing else.

Cheers, I'm happy enough to use the big belt sander so will likely hire that again if we do more rooms. The edge sander can get in the sea though. It might have just been the one I got (sample size of one), but next time I'll just use my RO sander. Only slightly slower but a fuck of a lot easier to handle and not fuck up floor/skirting boards.

I will probably steal your leveling compound/hearth idea. Still planning to copy your book shelves.

Stick a hoop in the corner and maybe some wooden rails up the wall.

I need to make the centre hole in this aluminium thing bigger, 16mm now, needs to be 18mm. I have a big solid pillar drill and a lathe that's pretty shonky and I never use / know how to use.
Reamer? Anyone have a lathe, know how to use it and want some beer?

Replacing rads, what are the critical dimensions to work off to ensure I don't need to fuck about with pipes etc.?
Ok, looking at K2. Cheers both. @Howard Do you mean scrub with something else or is there an attachment for the K2 that works? Otherwise if I'm scrubbing what's the benefit of a pressure washer? Assumed you just got the nozzle close and 'brushed'?
