Looks great but I do like the gym floor look, suppose you could repaint if thats the aesthetic you want.

Cheers, I'm happy enough to use the big belt sander so will likely hire that again if we do more rooms. The edge sander can get in the sea though. It might have just been the one I got (sample size of one), but next time I'll just use my RO sander. Only slightly slower but a fuck of a lot easier to handle and not fuck up floor/skirting boards.

Looks amazing. Did you hire the sander and do it yourself? If so, did you also use an edge sander? Also if so, how did you manage to get the latter to not be a total cunt?
