That is so frustrating
Do you have a before pic? Like have they done a good job other than the fuck up with the filler in between? Because I might be more lenient in that case to let them keep some money

We’re having a bit of drama with our floor.
Back story when we were buying we knew the floor needed sanding and refinishing, the previous owner had removed the carpet and exposed the original (lovely) teak flooring without treating it.
We had a recommendation from a neighbour of a company who did theres and they came round to survey, told us we needed gap filling, sanding, laquering.
2-3 days after they left, having done a great job, white lines started appearing between the boards, we told them, they said they would fix it when they came back to finish the ground floor (most of the work was on 1st floor and it was too cold on the ground floor to laquer when they first came)
they said they wouldnt book our appt for ground floor and fixing the white lines until the first invoice was paid, which we did.
theyre now saying they dont know how to fix the problem, the glue they used for gap filling has stretched (thing bending clear plastic where it goes frothy white) and our entire floor is now lovely beautiful flooring, marked out by thin white lines.
They offered to paint the white lines with a stain, they tried a small area and it looked like shite.
From my perspective I want a refund for the whole thing, or it fixed. From there side they’re saying they did their job, as a token of goodwill they won’t charge us our second invoice (£500, we’ve already paid £1400).
