Surely there'd still be an appetite for watching live football on TV if it were "just" the Premier League, football league and cups
I'd imagine that overseas income from China, the US, etc would be pretty heavily impacted.
It sounds like it will be bollocks but I'm sure there are plenty who'll watch it.

The reaction from football fans across Europe seems wholly negative and so presumably there's still a lot of people who'd be willing to watch the left behind leagues.
The Super League sounds properly shite as well.
