Sure the SL stands for ‘super light’, which isn’t what I’d immediately go for when choosing a workhorse chain! Although in practice it prob won’t affect how fast it wears. I’d go for it if you’ve already got good experience with them.
The 1/8" setup currently is a K710SL which has done a fair chunk of work over the years. I guess workhorse isn't the right word for my rat, I've been shaving off the grams where I can recently. Also I've stopped doing long rides on it.
