Anyone given the new album a listen, how's it compare to lift ye skinny fists?

Initial thoughts, it's a good listen, not a great one, but well worth the 50+ mins of your time, as with all their stuff, repeated listens will bring out something new. Favourite tunes Government Came and Cliffs gaze. It doesn't seem to be as dark/pessimistic/heavy as previous releases, but that's no bad thing. Will definitely listen again.
Off to listen to some Explosions in the Sky now.

Fairly classic post-rock sound to my ears. Couldn’t go far wrong with Mogwai, Mono, Godspeed you! Black Emperor etc. for the classics. If you wanted more of the electronics side you could look into 65 Days of Static or more of the guitar side you could go down the Red Sparrows and Russian Circles roads.
