I was half joking, half wanting the answer.

Half answer: try some graphite or carbon shafts and see what you think. I personally don't get on with them.

If you're a big hitter you might find that they flex too much during your swing. I use oversized steel shafts by Wilson for relative stiffness.

You can get stiff composite shafts but they are really spendy.

No because the water bath can be set to much lower temperatures.

It's not-boil-in-the-bag. (Typically sous vide is under 80 deg C, usually around 55-60 deg C.)
