Anyone know whether a 1991 Dawes Reynolds 500 MTB seatpost is more likely to be 26.0 or 26.2.

(current seatpost says 26.2 on it, but calipers put the seat tube at closer to 26.0)
If the current one fits, that size it is. Seat tube needs to be reamed first before you can measure it in a decent way.
I found an old catalogue which shows it should have had a QR lever. It seems to hold, but obvs a bit worried its been over tightened.
