The chain has been fed through the wrong side of the mech cage plate.
You’ll have to break it and re-feed so it sits the other side, as per the red line here:

Easy with a quicklink, or without you can remove a jockey wheel and get it in the right place.

I have now changed this, I’m finding the rd is knocking the chainstay? In the lowest gears it seems to Be tucked?
This has happened after I’ve taken it out the stand?

One said the name of my crank next to it and I think I would have had an emotional break down if i took a gamble on the one which didn’t fit
At worst I get a chain guide , the rear mech has a clutch, should be fine? Who knows, did we ride bikes before 1x?
I cannot stress enough, I have absalutely no idea what is happening when it comes to bikes, I see bit with matching name, I click buy, 50/50 if it works or not
@velosaurus was very nice this afternoon, ace shed and introduced to me to spotting kites, also switched the rings.
