The chaps from asashrepair.co.uk have been downstairs removing the stained glass panels (to be taken away for refurb) and boarding up for the last couple of hours. Haven't been down to check yet but it certainly sounds like they are doing a thorough job. Full job should be done by the end of May. Much excite.

wooden front door, currently painted with, needs to remain white, but has remnants of 50 years of door furniture and random bolts.
do i need to paint stripper before sanding? or do i just sand it down through the paint? have access to a festool rotex 90 sander
