  • @yetidamo and I came across Alex Moul when we were skating Abingdon Tesco’s car park. He was an absolute ripper as were a fair few others from peachcroft. This must have been 1988.

  • Sweet! Some people just have it when it comes to skating. I actually didn’t realise he was as big a name in skating as early as he was. He was just one of the big Uk names from when I started skating. If I remember the evening correctly I think John Rattray may have been there too and he also ripped the place up. Both going ten times faster and harder than anyone else.

  • We skated once with Tom Penny as well.
    Everyone was like “wow” that’s Tom Penny...not because he was a famous skater, it was he was the 11 year old son of our Art Teacher.

    John Rattray is a top guy
