OT: John Lewis book case

This was from John Lewis and is a solid piece of furniture and is really heavy. It's about 10+ years old (and was ridiculously expensive in it's day) and has moved a number of times. There's a couple of shelf bracket holes a bit broken where the shelf clips go in. But this doesn't really affect it, the shelves are stable with just three clips. If needed they can be repaired ie glued in (if you don't want to move it again). There's also a few scratches and marks from moving, however these come out with a bit of furniture polish and aren't noticeable at all when there's stuff in it. Overall it's really nice, but time to move onto a new person.

It's also Brompton friendly, and has housed ours for quite a few years, a couple of them fit perfectly on top. It's quite big and heavy and is dismantled, ready for collection from SW15, Putney.

Are the shelves tall enough for elpees tho?

No idea. I don't have any to test, and I've already dismantled it. The shelves are roughly 30cm cubes. I thought LPs were slightly bigger?

LP sleeves are 312 x 312mm: IKEA Kallax shelves are 336 x 336mm and I wouldn't want much less height when getting records in or out.

With those dimensions LPs definitely won't fit. It's just a humble book case.

Pics of it dismantled? So to know how can be picked up, I. E. How big of a car one needs. As I'm interested

Photos of it dismantled below. If collection by car, it’ll need to be something you can drop the back seats down for the length. The shelves and drawers aren’t a problem at all.

Yes. iPhone 12 mini. It's great for this sort of stuff. It's pretty accurate too if you want it to be. And it's so much better than trying to explain the dimensions.
