Eddie should sort out his shop and “opening hours”, so people can actually buy the watch whenever they want. Or maybe he’s adapted Rolex’s business model?

Can't fight the drop economy. That's where everything that isn't a basic consumer good is headed.

I disagree. To sort it out he'd have to hire staff and that's not what he wants to do. He sells as many watches as one man can sell (and pack and post).
If he opened his shop 24/7 he'd just end up working through waiting lists and disgruntled waiters so I can see why he doesn't want to do it.
