Aside from all the other reasons, one of the main things I'd love about doing long rides in Japan would be the vending machine pickings.

Well that and the fact that their convenience stores have stuff that looks a class above your average Spar.

Oh yeah, I have a load of pics of Japanese vending machines (and toilets).

The porno video machine in the middle of a field outside of Himeji is also one that sticks vividly in my mind.

My favorites are the mystery gacha that you find sometimes , where your put in 200yen and get "something in return" normally a bizarre anime figurine.

Im riding a 300 from Tokyo this weekend so I will see if i can find some weird ones in rural Gunma.
