I mean, if I were going for a whole shifting/braking overhaul, I probably would go for hydro. And I have no info on the maintenance of the pads/if the discs were cleaned...etc. Just not "blown away" by it.

What do we call what was #shitfromabutt 2/3 weeks ago and now is harder than tarmac and more wrinkled than an old person forehead? Is there a specific name for that too?
