Does anyone know if standard Tiagra flat bar 10s shifter will work with da7800? Or even better an older 10s XTR shifter set? (No clue on generations when it comes to mtb kit)

4700 tiagra is the funny one. afaik 4600 should work (both 10 speed)

The old 10 speed road is all the same pull (before tiagra 4700) and is compatible with up to 9 speed MTB stuff.

10 speed MTB has different pull with road, so this only works with other 10 speed MTB.
